2016 All-State/Scholarship Recognition and Iron-man Fun Shoot
Athletes and Coaches:
To recognize our All-State and Scholarship winners, TNSCTP is planning a day of fun for athletes as well as team coaches and adult volunteers.
On Saturday, August 13, TNSCTP will hold an Iron-man fun shoot. Participants will shoot 50 Trap, 50 Skeet, and 50 Sporting Clays and be eligible for some fun prizes.
Athletes to be recognized will get a few days head start on registration, but the event is open to ALL registered Athletes and Coaches/Adult Volunteers that wish to participate.
The event will be at Montgomery County Shooting Complex, 4201 Southside Rd, Southside, TN 37171.
Shooting will begin around 9:00 AM (or later depending on number of participants). We will start serving lunch around 2:00 PM. All-State and Scholarship winners will be recognized at 4:00 PM along with our winners from the shoot.
We will also be having the Rudy Cup shoot-off at 3:00 PM. Four athletes tied at 197. We were unable to shoot-off for the award at Nationals, so everyone will be joining us here.
Everyone is welcome at the awards ceremony. Registration for the Iron-man is $85 (includes meal) and meal tickets are $10 (All-State and Scholarship winners use code "ALLWINNER" for up to three free meals).
The Tennessee Wildlife Federation is pleased to announce 2016 All-State Winners!
The TNSCTP All-State awards recognize the top student athletes for their achievements in the classroom, on the range, and in their communities.
For 2016, TNSCTP set a minimum criteria and opened the award to all that met it. This allowed us to recognize the many exemplary athletes TNSCTP has.
Through an application process, 2016 All-State winners have proven academic excellence by posting a year-ending grade average of 92 or better, have logged excellent scores in Regional and State competitions and have demonstrated outstanding community involvement.
All winners will be recognized along with our scholarship winners (TBD shortly) at an awards dinner being planned in Clarksville on August 13. More details will be distributed next week. Be sure to save the date.
