Region II Coach Symposium - February 11

TNSCTP
REGION II COACHES SYMPOSIUM
FEBRUARY 11
--A Message from Michael Park, Region II Director--

Hello Coaches!

This is an important reminder that the Region II Coaches Symposium is scheduled for Saturday, February 11 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CT in College Grove, Tenn.

Even though it's being held in Region II, we encourage coaches from all regions to attend. And all your team coaches are welcome. (You can take notes for hosting your own symposium!)

TO REGISTER, please visit HERE.  The deadline is Tuesday, January 31.
We have a fun-filled day planned with topics that coaches have expressed interest in. To this second symposium, we're restructuring to that breakout sessions will be running concurrently so there is more 1-on-1 time with instructors. This is an opportunity for coaches to fellowship and learn from each other.

The opening session, a time to introduce coaches to each other, is followed by four breakout sessions, which will be repeated four times so you can attend each. The four sessions are:
  • Trap
  • Skeet
  • Sporting Clays
  • Team Dynamics

The three discipline sessions will include stance, target acquisition, and gun fit. In addition, the sporting clays session will include how to practice sporting clays with only a trap and skeet combo field.

The team dynamics session is a place for coaches and volunteers to share and swap ideas about how to run a team, deal with paperwork, fundraising, and other topics.

The day will also include range time.  The cost is $30 and includes lunch and targets.   Register here.

If you would like to help with some of the sessions or have topics you would like to see covered, please contact me.

Thanks for all you do for your teams.  We look forward to seeing you there!
