NSSA/NSCA Announces SCTP Shooting Tour

TNSCTP
NSSA/NSCA National SCTP Shooting Tour
Hello Coaches,

This year, National Skeet Shooting Association (NSSA) and National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA) clubs will be hosting special events for SCTP shooters across the nation.

These will be registered shoots with medallions awarded to the top SCTP shooters. A flyer for an upcoming event in North Little Rock, Ark. can be seen HERE.

In addition, NSSA/NSCA will recognize the top SCTP shooters by creating the NSSA/NSCA-SCTP All-American Team based on registered shoots. To contend for the All-American Team, shooters must:
  1. Shoot 500 registered 12-gauge skeet targets OR 500 registered 12-gauge sporting clays targets.
  2. One of the events must include the SCTP state or national competitions or a regional event if it is a registered event.
(The skeet team will be based on 12-gauge average while the sporting clays team will be based on a points system.)

The All-American Team is a great example of the incentives to joining a national governing body (NGB). To join the NSSA or the NSCA, click HERE or pay the NGB dues via the SHOT 5 registration systemCoaches, please be sure to input the NGB numbers of athletes when registering them in SHOT 5.  (If you have any questions, contact Andrew or Stephen.)

To check for registered shoots in Tennessee and elsewhere, please refer to our TNSCTP Calendar.  If you know of a registered shoot not on our calendar, please let us know and we will add it.

Please feel free to contact Nathan Boyd with any questions about the NSSA/NSCA program.
