You're Invited: Upcoming Deer Hunts!

You're Invited: Deer Hunts
Dear Youth, Parents, and Guardians,

You are invited to apply for upcoming deer hunts!

The Federation's Hunting and Fishing Academy will host youth and their accompanying, non-hunting parent or guardian for mentored deer hunts.

These opportunities are more than a simple hunting event. Hunting and Fishing Academy provides engaging hands-on instruction in the art of becoming an outdoorsman. Highly-trained, lifelong hunters will demonstrate and guide participants through completing essential skills in the field. These mentors remain a resource to participants long after the weekend is over.

Hunt requirements:
  • Hunters must use a rifle with the corresponding ammunition.
  • Youth must be 9 years of age and have successfully completed the Tennessee Hunter Education course prior to the hunt and have a valid Tennessee hunting license.
  • Parent or guardian must accompany youth for the hunt.
Participants will be selected from the applicants. Youth not selected for the hunt will be wait-listed. More information is below, and hunt specific details will be provided directly to the selected participants.

Any youth wishing to hunt is encouraged to apply.

December 7th-9th in Erin, TN
