How can your license feed the hungry?

With just one click, you can provide many full servings of venison to hungry Tennesseans when you renew your license.

This deer season, join thousands of fellow sportsmen and make a difference in the lives of those in need.

We are making progress in the fight against Asian carp! This September, the Senate Appropriations Committee approved a spending bill that would give millions for Asian carp management across the Southeast.

Find out how much and what this could mean for Asian carp in Tennessee.

Upcoming Mentored Deer Hunts

Apply Today for an Upcoming Deer Hunt!
Dear Youth, Parents, and Guardians

You have the opportunity to join us for a mentored deer hunt in Somerville, TN and Greenfield, TN!

November 22-24, 2019 in Somerville, TN
December 13-15, 2019 in Greenfield, TN

Apply HERE!

These Tennessee Wildlife Federation Hunting and Fishing Academy events link youth and their accompanying parent or guardian with trained, lifelong hunters and anglers who serve as mentors for the weekend hunts.

More than hunting alone, the weekend will involve primitive camping; outdoor skills such as campsite selection and set up; orienteering with a compass; and the principles of "leave no trace" outdoorsmanship.

Youth must be aged 9 to 16 years old, have successfully completed the Tennessee Hunter Education course, and have a valid Tennessee hunting license. Participants should bring their own rifle with the corresponding ammunition for that caliber.

Everyone is encouraged to apply, regardless of skill level.

Hunt specific details will be sent to individuals selected for the hunt. Participants will be notified four weeks before the hunt if they have been selected or wait-listed for that particular event.

All events are $150 for the youth and $150 for the accompanying parent/guardian. All meals and beverages for the duration of the event are covered by this fee.

If you are unable to attend either of these events, please check out our other upcoming hunts.
