Changes to respond to COVID-19

Dear Blog family,

Tennessee Wildlife Federation is committed to safely introducing individuals to the outdoors, so Hunting and Fishing Academy is taking the following steps during this time of concern about Coronavirus (COVID-19).

  • Federation staff are closely monitoring daily updates and recommendations from the CDC.
  • Federation staff, participants, and volunteers have been instructed to never come to an event if they are feeling ill in any way.
  • All high-touch areas at events will be sanitized on a regular basis throughout the event.
  • There will be additional sanitizing stations at every event location.
  • There will be signs in bathrooms with hand washing instructions.
  • Latex gloves will be worn by all appropriate volunteers and staff during food preparations and similar activities.

At this time, we are rescheduling experiences scheduled for the weekend of March 27.

If there are additional schedule changes, participants will be notified via email about refunds or rescheduling.

We recommend that every participant follow the preventative guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

If you are experiencing any of the symptoms listed on the CDC.gov website, please be courteous of others and stay home.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at any of the email addresses below.
Thank you,

Tennessee Wildlife Federation
